The Wonders of Beekeeping – Andrew Davis

DATE: MAR/2017

OUTLINE: Another great book into the introduction of beekeeping for wannabes (no pun intended).

REVIEW: This is a UK centric look at beekeeping for beginners and I wish I had picked it up before I bought my wife a beehive for a gift (honestly it was for her, not me). It is a really informative read and the specific detail covered seem to be applicable to all beekeeper with the exception of the hives. They really only cover 2 hives and inpracticality there are many more styes. If you are thinking of keeping bees this is a really good book to get started. It will introduce you to the can have worms you are about to open, if you haven’t already opened them. The calendar reminder is really good and an effective way of scheduling your work load. Oh and when you learn about the male bees sex life you probably be gad you are not one.
