OUTLINE: An Introduction level practical guide into keeping an managing bees properly.
REVIEW: The author divides the chapters into easily manageable topics regarding beekeeping and its various components. This is an introductory level book and perhaps best suited for someone who is thinking of keeping bees. If you have already bought a hive though and you are committed to the idea then you may look for something with more depth. Its only an hour long and they cover everything from the history, genetic make up, behaviour, anatomy, sociology and life span of the honey bee. And a lot more. It really just skims each subject briefly but is still very informative.
