REVIEW: This book has a guide of a sceptical persons first exposure to NLP. It looks at the way altering your tone of voice can, alone, change the way that you receive your own interpersonal feedback. This, along with several other techniques, is how the book try’s to show that you are the strongest controller of your own life and you have the power to change the outcome. As an introduction into the topic it is very easy to follow and a novel method of putting the message across. This book is an introduction only and there are many more books out there that will offer NLP knowledge that is perhaps more tailored to an individual reader/environment/discipline.

The book summarise with a question and considerations. What is the most important thing to you? Keep it in the forefront of your mind.

  1. Personal freedom is the ability to think about what you want in your own way. You can’t control everything but you can control how you feel about it
  2. Take charge of your beliefs and you will take charge of your life.
  3. If you’re looking for problems you will find them.
