OUTLINE: A guide to the psychological and strategic gotchas of an infamous contrarian Investor.
Mark Homer takes you through some of the best and worst lessons he has learnt in his career to date as an investor. He stresses how well a contrarian investor can place them selves to profit from a investment strategy whilst the heard mentality of the public, (read daily mail readers), will be flowing in the opposite direction. The book is up to date, as of this review, and on point with case studies and examples in the current media where Mark has identified low valued stocks or asset classes that have fallen foul to the mass media mentality. There are some entertaining stories of his history around differing investments and he highlights some of his errors so you can avoid them. certainly a worth while read especially if you invite in property as an assist class.
