The Intelligent Investor Rev Ed – Benjamin Graham

The purpose of this book, revealed in the intro, is not to tell you what stock, shares, bonds etc to invest in but rather to educate you on how to and not to invest. The author repeats the importance of leaving emotion out of your investments and that if you want to gamble in certain practices by all means do so for fun but separate the money you use for this and money for ‘proper’ investing . It’s a 17hr book so listen at 2.5x speed. This book is content rich if you are considering what investments you would like to get involved in and there are explanations and examples throughout. Some of the book lost me at points and its not hard to loose concentration but the narrator has a great sense of humour at points and adds an enjoyable element to what could be considered a dry subject by some.
